The Raccoon is the Tennessee state wild animal. In this picture, it is surrounded by other Tennessee state symbols, such as the largemouth bass, the state game fish and the channel catfish, the state commercial fish. Also included in the piece are the state insects, the ladybug and the firefly, the iris, the state cultivated flower, the tulip poplar, Tennessee's state tree, and the passion flower, the state wildflower.
